Sina Science and Technology News On the morning of June 23, Beijing time, it is reported that, Morgan Stanley (Morgan Stanley) pointed out in the report that in May 2022, the sales of iPhone in China will grow by 14% year on year, but the App Store will not grow much in the Chinese market.

According to the report, in May, the growth rate of iPhone exceeded 14%, and the rapid growth was mainly due to the release of the epidemic. The market share of iPhone in IB (Introducing Broker) in China has increased for 21 consecutive months.

In contrast, the App Store is estimated to grow by only 1% today in June, while the global growth of the App Store will be about 6% in May 2022.

According to the data of the China Academy of Information and Communication Technology (CAICT), the shipment of smart phones in China in May was about 20.6 million units, down 9% year on year, and the shipment in April was down 34% year on year, rebounding significantly.

Morgan Stanley believes that the shipment of iPhones in China in May was about 4.2 million, up 14% year on year, while the shipment of Chinese local brand phones decreased by 13% year on year, which indicates that the share of iPhones in China is growing.

The report also said that 11.8% Apple Users transferred to Huawei, and 24.6% of Huawei users transferred to Apple. Considering that Huawei's share is smaller than Apple's, the above comparison is of little significance. Apple's user retention rate is still high.

The easing of the epidemic is beneficial to Apple retail, as well as Apple Mac and iPad production. Data shows that the delivery date of MacBook Pro M1 is 56 days as of June 16, compared with 62 days in the previous week.

Morgan Stanley analysis said: "Although the delivery date has still reached 2 months, the shortened time may indicate that the supply chain is improving. Mac Studio was released in March 2022, and we also saw a similar trend from this product, with the delivery date reduced by 6 days on a weekly basis."
