The tobacco monopoly administrative departments at all levels will continue to strengthen market supervision in accordance with the law, focus on supervising and urging the retail entities of electronic cigarettes to implement the regulatory requirements such as the verification of identity documents and the removal of electronic cigarette advertisements from the shelves, further understand the status of the electronic cigarette market, and master the operating information such as the market price, inventory, and dynamic marketing of electronic cigarette products. The retail entities of electronic cigarettes should strictly comply with the requirements of the regulatory policies of electronic cigarettes, not sell electronic cigarettes to minors, not publish electronic cigarette advertisements, implement the setting of warning signs, and not engage in exclusive business activities.

The national standard of Electronic Cigarette will be officially implemented on October 1, 2022.
