YSG Studio transformed a Georgian corner shop in Rosell, Sydney, in the Victorian era at the end of the 19th century into a residence for a family of four. Furniture and fixtures refer to Art Nouveau style, while wooden furniture draws inspiration from traditional Japanese interior design. This kind of collocation has bridged the gap between historical heritage and modern style, and formed a new kind of aesthetics.
