The remake of Hong Kong's classic light and shadow was produced by Liang Huiyi, a senior producer, who invited six directors including Xia Yongkang, Wen Nianzhong, Tanigaki Kenji, Jian Junjin, Huang Guoqiang and Liao Yimin to direct six short films, and supervised by Chen Shanzhi, Zhu Jiayi and Yan Jianian, senior filmmakers. Through six different types of Hong Kong produced films, the directors include love, police and bandits, kungfu, action, comedy, literature and art, and many famous actors, including Zhang Aijia, Lin Zixiang, Hong Jinbao, Karen Mok, Lin Jiadong Twins Cai Zhuoyen, Zhong Xintong, Mi Xue, Zhang Zhaohui, Qiu Shijin, Ling Wenlong, Yuan Lilin, Lin Jiaxi, Zhu Jianran, Chen Mingxuan and other new actors pay tribute to the classic plot of Hong Kong films with six short films, and even create new stories.
