How to modify WooCommerce's product ranking

After we use WordPress and WooCommerce to build our own corporate website and upload the products, the default store sorting is in the form of "custom ordering+title". In English, it is custom ordering+name. If we need to adjust the product sorting by ourselves, Dad will introduce two ways.

Sort by publishing time

This method is relatively simple. The latest released products are always at the front. If you want to manually control the product sequence, you only need to modify the release time. The operation method is as follows:

Select the theme - customize - then find the WooCommerce settings, find the directory, and sort by default. Here, sort by most recent is selected

Manual sorting

Manual sorting is only suitable for websites with few products. If there are hundreds of products on your website, it will be a huge project to sort all products manually.

If you want to sort manually, you don't need to modify the default sorting of products mentioned above, keep the form of custom sorting+name, and then enter the product list page.

After entering the product list page, switch to sorting, and then you can manually adjust the position order of different products by pressing and holding the products you want to sort and dragging them up and down.

In addition to dragging here, you can manually enter the serial number on the product editing page to sort, as shown below:

In the advanced area of product data, you can fill in the numbers sorted in the menu. The smaller the number, the higher the number.
