Alibaba Cloud domain name resolution tutorial, how to modify IP records for Alibaba Cloud registered domain names

After registering a domain name, the domain name can work normally and open the corresponding website only if the resolution rules are correctly added. This article describes how to add resolution rules to domain names registered by Alibaba Cloud.

1. Click the link below to enter the AliCloud domain name registration interface.

2. Enter the domain name you want to register in the search box.

3. Select the domain name that can be registered, and then check out.

Domain Name Resolution Tutorial

1、 Log in to the Alibaba Cloud background, find the domain name, and then enter the domain name list.

Click the Resolve button behind your domain name.

2、 Click the Add Record button.

3、 Fill in the corresponding information in the pop-up interface, and click OK to add it.

The record type is usually A record. In some special cases, CNAME or other types will be used. You can select the type according to your needs.

The host record is the URL of your domain name you want to resolve. For example:

• If you want to use www.naibabiji.com to open the website, add www to the record.
• Naibabiji.com will not fill in the blank or fill in@
• Blog.naibabiji.com just fill in the blog

Record the IP address of your server or virtual host.

Keep the TTL default.

Modify AliCloud DNS server

Domain name registered in Alibaba Cloud, DNS generally defaults to the DNS server address of Alibaba Cloud. If you have your own DNS server and need to modify the DNS of your domain name to your own DNS, or modify the DNS of your domain name to that of another service provider, you can refer to this article for operations.

prerequisite

The domain name is registered in AliCloud or has been transferred to AliCloud. If the domain name has been transferred out of Alibaba Cloud, you need to modify the DNS at the service provider where the domain name is located.

It has its own DNS server or DNS of other service providers.

Operation steps

1. Log in to the AliCloud domain name console.
2. Locate the target domain name in the domain name list, and click Manage under the operation column to enter the basic information page.
3. In the left navigation bar, click DNS Modify.
4. On the DNS modification page, click Modify DNS Server in the upper right corner.
5. Modify the DNS server address according to the prompts on the page, and click OK after completion.

Problems related to domain name resolution

1. After the resolution is added, the effective time of the resolution varies according to the update speed of DNS servers in different places. It can be a few minutes fast, hours slow or even a day or two.

2. The resolution has not taken effect. You can try to clear the DNS cache by "Start Run cmd", and then enter "ipconfig/flushdns"

3. Only one record can be parsed. For example, you cannot add two www records pointing to different IP addresses.
