Asia's largest underground comprehensive transportation hub
Recently, new progress has been made in the comprehensive transportation hub of Beijing's sub central station. According to Beijing Investment Corporation, as of the end of March this year, the earthwork construction of the main works of the sub central station hub has nearly been completed, and the structure has been completed to 87%. According to the plan, the main structure construction will be completed by the end of December, and it is expected to be put into use in 2025.
Located in Yangtuo Village, Lucheng Town, Tongzhou District, the comprehensive transportation hub of Beijing Urban Sub central Station is adjacent to the bank of Beijing North Canal in the west and the East Sixth Ring Road in the east. It is at the intersection of the spatial structure of "One Belt One Axis" in Beijing Urban Sub central Station. With a total land area of about 70 hectares, it is an important fulcrum of "Beijing Tianjin Hebei on the track".
The comprehensive transportation hub of Beijing Urban Sub central Station is a three story underground structure with a total building size of about 1.28 million square meters. Among them, the core area of the station building is about 379000 square meters, the station yard scale is 8 sets and 14 lines, and three rail transit lines, M6 line, Pinggu line, M101 line, and three railway lines, Beijing Tangshan railway, Beijing Harbin railway, and intercity liaison line, are introduced.
After the project is opened to traffic, it can reach the Capital Airport in 15 minutes, Beijing Daxing International Airport in 35 minutes, Xiong'an New Area in one hour, becoming the largest underground comprehensive transportation hub in Asia.
