Recently, several videos released by the social media account "Zhao Juying Family Education" caused controversy.
Zhao Juying, who claims to be a senior family education expert and a 33 year senior Chinese teacher, has made more than 1000 speeches around the country and published two books. On May 6, the education bureau of Jiayuguan City, Gansu Province said that Zhao Juying would retire from a primary school in the city in 2023. The education bureau would investigate the problems reflected by netizens.
No matter whether its name is "dazzling" or not, just from the "education method" shown in the video, it is really clumsy, not only worthy of "senior education experts", but also not worthy of the word "education".
The behavior logic of this so-called senior family education expert is first to preempt others and frighten students, then to slow down and try to guide students to listen to their own admonitions. For example, the first step is a language storm, and simply and roughly hit, hit, and throw, trying to make children focus on learning goals by forcing them to cut off all kinds of life connections and emotional sustenance.
Perhaps, in the eyes of some parents, this person has a kind of decisive determination, and can really "town" some children, but that's all. After all, raising children requires love, not intimidation.
The correct way is to communicate and remind, stimulate children's endogenous motivation, help them arrange their study and rest time, and do not indulge in it. "Breaking up and leaving" in the way of "destroying the dead" will not succeed, but will also lead to rebellion, and even make children close themselves from now on.
In recent years, parents and society have paid more and more attention to education, and the convenient social platform has become a showcase for "family education experts" from all walks of life. Many insightful experts did give good advice, but it does not rule out that some fishermen in muddy waters are harvesting the flow.
In any case, such a poor family education concept as "Zhao Juying's family education" is not commendable, nor should it be popular on social platforms.
