EZ-6 is the first new energy flagship car for Chang'an Mazda to comprehensively transform into an electrified track, and also the first electric car based on the leading pure electric platform in the joint venture brand camp of the Chinese automobile market, which is still very heavy.

In terms of appearance, EZ-6 still adopts the family style design style, retains the large size Zhongwang, but has a closed design. Secondly, Mazda calls it the wing of MAZDA by adopting the current popular design of through flow grille headlights, which are like wings and feathers after lighting up, integrating the delicate appearance and advancement. After lighting up as a whole, it is combined with the luminous logo, which has a sense of science and technology.

At the side, a very conspicuous waist line is directly linked from the rearview mirror to the rear of the car, which is crisp and neat. EZ-6 uses light and shadow shaped surface to create the muscular feeling of the car. The whole car has simple and smooth lines. The modeling inspiration comes from those legendary sedans in Mazda's history, such as MazDA6, Mazda COSMO, etc. In terms of size, EZ-6 length, width and height are 4921/1890/1485mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2900mm.

The tail is still a through light belt, echoing the front of the car. At the same time, four round barrel lights are added on both sides of the through tail lights, fully reflecting the characteristics of Mazda. The tail lights and the built-in deformable electric tail wings complement each other, simple and elegant.

In terms of interior decoration, the overall dashboard adopts a suspended shape, with a 14.6-inch high-definition touch LCD large screen. This should be the first domestic joint-venture new energy model to use such a large screen. The interior decoration is made of leather or deerskin style materials, and matched with matte chrome plated decorative parts. The overall texture is very good.

As for the performance, the official did not disclose too much. What is known is that the new car will provide two power options: pure electricity and extended range.

After the global debut of MAZDA EZ-6, the concept model of the second electric vehicle of Chang'an Mazda, MAZDA created ARATA, made its debut at the Beijing Auto Show. The electric SUV developed based on the concept car is the same as the MAZDA EZ-6, which provides two power configurations - BEV and REEV, and is planned to be launched in the Chinese market in 2025. On this basis, Chang'an Mazda is also preparing the third and fourth new energy models. In the domestic automobile market, Chang'an Mazda launched its own electric offensive.
