At the Beijing Auto Show, which opened on April 25, Porsche Macan (Configuration |Inquiry) EV is officially launched. A total of two models were launched for the new car, with the price of 728000 yuan and 968000 yuan as one of the best selling models under Porsche. After the new Macan was upgraded, it adopted pure electric design and was built based on the PPE platform.

In terms of design, the overall style of the new car is not much different from the current fuel version. However, the lines in the details have become more concise and more in line with the current consumer's aesthetic.

The length, width and height of the vehicle are 4784/1938/1622mm, and the wheelbase is 2893mm. The body size has not changed much compared with fuel vehicles, but the car length and wheelbase have increased a lot. As a result of getting rid of the shackles of the internal combustion engine, the new Macan has a front spare compartment with a volume of 84L.

The tail looks more rounded and plump. The tail lamp is embedded, and the style is still a through design. A small spoiler is also designed for the new car, which is ingeniously placed under the rear windshield and is electrically adjustable. It is worth mentioning that the drag coefficient of the new car is as low as 0.25Cd.

In the interior part, Macan EV still adopts a relatively traditional T-shaped layout, and the triple screen design highlights the sense of technology and luxury. However, some models in Guantu are not equipped with the co pilot screen, which is likely to be an optional configuration in the future. The overall design is still driver centered, the handlebar is moved to the right side of the steering wheel, and the one button start button is still on the left side of the steering wheel based on Porsche tradition.

In terms of power, Macan EV will use the latest generation of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PSM). The maximum power is set as 300kW and 470kW respectively according to different vehicle models, and the maximum torque is 650Nm and 1130Nm respectively. In order to improve efficiency, the rear bridge pulse inverter (PWR) uses silicon carbide as a semiconductor material, which can reduce the conversion loss of the pulse inverter and achieve a higher conversion frequency. The new car is equipped with a 100kWh battery pack, and the endurance mileage under WLTP condition is 613km and 591km respectively. Thanks to the 800V technical architecture, the maximum charging power of Macan can reach 270kW, which can be charged from 10% to 80% in 21 minutes.
