Hu Lihua, the field manager of Bagua Field, told the reporter that they had planted two circles of rape flowers in Bagua Field, a total of 28 mu, which is now in full bloom and is expected to open to the middle and late April.

It is worth mentioning that in order to welcome the Asian Games, the rape flowers in Bagua Field have a new highlight. Beside ordinary rape flowers, there are colorful rape flowers newly introduced from Zhejiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences. After a year of trial planting, these flowers have successfully adapted to the growth environment of Bagua field. The number of them is about 15 mu. In addition to the normal yellow, their designs and colors include golden yellow, pale yellow, orange, pale pink and pale purple. At present, these colorful rape flowers have also blossomed, beautiful and colorful.

It is understood that these rape flowers will be backfilled as green manure after they have all withered, so as to facilitate the subsequent planting of rice, sweet potatoes and other crops. Rapeseed will be harvested. About 30 jin of rapeseed oil can be produced per mu in late May.
