People's Daily Online, Kunming, May 21 (Lei Ji) On the morning of May 21, a halo appeared over Kunming, Yunnan, with a dazzling "halo" hanging in the clear air, full of "science fiction".

The solar halo, also known as the round rainbow, is an atmospheric optical phenomenon. When sunlight passes through cirrostratus clouds, it is refracted or reflected by ice crystals. The sun is strong in summer, so don't watch the halo with naked eyes for a long time when it appears, so as not to burn your eyes.
