Recently, in Jingdong District of Puer, Yunnan Wuliang Mountain National Nature Reserve, forest rangers accidentally took a picture of a western black crested gibbon dancing a "golden hoop". The video shows that a male west black crested gibbon holds a branch more than 30 meters high with his right hand and a stick about two meters long with his left hand, dancing and rotating with hands and feet.

West black crested gibbon is a national first-class protected animal, with a global population of about 1500, and Yunnan accounts for about 90%.
