Jiangcheng, people.com.cn, May 19 (reporter Hu Zunhui, Liu Yi) On May 18, Jiangcheng Hani and Yi Autonomous County, Puer City, Yunnan Province, held a celebration meeting for the 70th anniversary of its founding. Cadres and people of all ethnic groups in the county gathered together, singing and dancing to celebrate the county.

At the scene, more than ten distinctive squares, such as the Chinese nation's pro square array, the future pro square array, and the "Belt and Road" square array, appeared one by one. The cadres and masses of all ethnic groups in Jiangcheng wear festive costumes and show the uplifting spirit of the people of all ethnic groups with songs and dances.

Jiangcheng Hani and Yi Autonomous County, located in the south of Yunnan Province, gets its name from the three rivers of Lixian River, Mengye River and Manlao River. It borders Vietnam and Laos. The border line is 183km long, and has the reputation of "one city connects three countries". It is the only border county in Yunnan Province that borders two countries. There are 25 ethnic groups living in the territory, including Han, Hani, Yi, Dai and Yao.

Over the past 70 years, the economy of Jiangcheng County has grown rapidly, and its comprehensive strength has made great strides. The GDP of the region has increased by 2561 times, 38698 poor people have been lifted out of poverty, the per capita disposable income of urban and rural residents has increased by 231 times and 359 times respectively, and the opening up along the border is deepening. "Menglu Expressway" and other "outreach" roads along the border are about to be completed and opened to traffic, Mengkang Port is upgraded, and Longfu Port is under construction. The provincial assessment result of the county's ecological environment quality is excellent for eight consecutive years, It has successfully created a national demonstration county of national unity and progress.
