Menglian, people.com.cn, May 14 (Reporter Yang Wenming, Tiger Zunhui) In recent days, hundreds of yellow breasted weavers are busy building nests and settling down around Menglian County, Yunnan. Because of its superb nesting skills, it has attracted many photography lovers and tourists to watch.

It is understood that every April to May, the yellow breasted weaver birds will successively come to the villages around Menglian County to build nests and settle down. After completing nesting, courtship, spawning and other breeding work, they will leave again in early September. The yellow breasted weaver bird is known as "the most beautiful weaver in the animal world" because of its exquisite nest workmanship.

At present, 17 places around Menglian County have been found to have yellow breasted weaver birds nesting. According to the preliminary statistics, there are more than 370 nests, and the number is increasing every day. In order to facilitate the bird watching of photography lovers and tourists, Menglian has also developed two yellow breasted weaving bird watching spots around the county seat, and built three bird watching pavilions with unique shapes for the use of photography lovers and tourists.
