Recently, the 2024 Fujian Culture and Tourism Promotion Conference was held in Kunming. At the meeting, Fuzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Kunming Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism on tourism friendly cities, and Quanzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Dehong Dai and Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture Bureau of Culture and Tourism.

It is understood that Fujian and Yunnan have long been important tourist destinations and source markets for each other. In order to deepen exchanges and cooperation, in February this year, Fujian Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and Yunnan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism signed a strategic cooperation agreement to further deepen the development of Fujian Yunnan cultural tourism, and identified 13 cooperation priorities. The cultural and tourism strategic cooperation between the capital cities and key tourism cities of the two provinces is conducive to giving full play to their respective "sea" characteristics and "mountain" advantages, and will promote resource complementarity, mutual market construction, and mutual supply of tourists.
