The "blowout" growth of railway passenger flow in western Yunnan

On July 13, the reporter learned from China Railway Kunming Bureau Group Co., Ltd. that with the arrival of summer vacation, the flow of tourists, family visits and students on the golden tourist routes in western Yunnan, such as Kunming Chu Railway, Dalin Railway and Dali Lijiang Railway, has increased significantly, and Dali, Lijiang, Lincang, Chuxiong, Xiangyun and other stations have ushered in peak passenger flow.

From July 1 to July 12, the Kunming Chuzhou Railway, Dalin Railway and Dali Lijiang Railway sent 534000 passengers in total, with an average daily passenger volume of 44000, an increase of 71.9% over the same period in 2020. The passenger flow of Kunming Chuzhou Railway increased in a "blowout" way. From July 1 to July 12, Dali Station sent 223000 passengers, with a daily average of 18600 passengers, an increase of 69.6% over the same period in 2020. Six stations, Lufengnan, Guangtong North, Chuxiong, Nanhua, Yunnanyi and Xiangyun, sent 139000 passengers in total, 12000 passengers per day, an increase of 32.5% over the same period in 2020.

This year is the first summer transportation since Dalin Railway was put into operation, and the passenger flow has increased significantly. From July 1 to 12, Lincang, Yunxian and Weishan stations sent 68000 passengers in total, and 5659 passengers per day. (Reporter Hu Xiaorong)
