Urumqi, People's Daily Online, May 16 (Xinhua) A few days ago, the State Administration of Organs Affairs and the National Development and Reform Commission jointly released the list of green and low-carbon public institutions for 2024-2026. A total of 251 units were identified as green and low-carbon public institutions nationwide, and 8 units in Xinjiang were selected.

The 8 selected units are the Autonomous Region Office Affairs Administration Bureau, Hetian Experimental Middle School, Hami High tech Industrial Development Zone Management Committee, Wensu County People's Hospital, Urumqi Friendship Hospital, Kashi District Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Xinjiang Medical University, and Karamay Vocational and Technical College.

The selection of green and low-carbon public institutions focuses on the promotion and application of green and low-carbon technologies, and is organized around five technical directions, including electrification of energy consumption system, green and low-carbon buildings, and greening of data centers, which are suitable for public institutions.
