Xinjiang: further strengthen the disclosure of government procurement information

Urumqi, People's Daily Online, May 15 Recently, the Finance Department of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region issued the Notice on Further Strengthening the Publicity of Government Procurement Information and Improving the Transparency of Government Procurement (hereinafter referred to as the "Notice"), requiring further strengthening the disclosure of government procurement information and improving the transparency of government procurement.

The Notice puts forward requirements for the public release of government procurement information in terms of designated media, public content, and release subject, and clarifies that government procurement information should disclose government procurement project information, regulatory information, and other government procurement information.

Among them, project information requires public procurement intention, prequalification announcement, competitive negotiation announcement, inquiry announcement, single source procurement announcement, bid winning (closing) result announcement, contract announcement, public service project acceptance result announcement, termination announcement, implementation of budget projects for SMEs, etc. Regulatory information requires disclosure of complaint handling results, supervision and inspection handling results, assessment results of centralized procurement institutions, records of illegal and dishonest behaviors and other information.

The Notice also strengthened the regulations on supervision and inspection of government procurement information disclosure, requiring financial departments at all levels to strengthen supervision and inspection, find problems in government procurement work of purchasers and procurement agencies in a timely manner, and take measures such as interviews and business reminder letters to urge purchasers at all levels to implement the policy requirements to improve the transparency of government procurement.
