At the scene, four squares consisting of 26 sweaty BMW squares, ancient and modern carriages and wedding custom floats, merchants' camel caravans on the ancient Silk Road, and cool motorbikes were paraded on the street, integrating art, culture, music, tourism and other elements, fully demonstrating that the caravans on the Silk Road came from ancient times, The modern urban streets in Urumqi present the heritage and style of the Silk Road in the new era, which will feast the eyes of citizens and tourists along the line.
Among them, the Bloody BMW Square has a series of horse related performances when it stops at three points, aiming to make the public more deeply understand and experience Xinjiang horse culture and further promote "instant tourism".
Hai Yan, deputy chief of the Tourism Promotion and Foreign Exchange Section of Urumqi Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism (Municipal Bureau of Cultural Relics), said that the "May Day" holiday coincides with the launch of Urumqi's 2024 cultural tourism consumption season, and will continue to launch horse themed activities to enjoy equestrian performances and dressed horse shows in Yema Ancient Ecological Park and Yanjing Shenmu Park; Watch traditional sports activities such as horse racing and sheep cutting in Nanshan Pasture, Shirengou and other places; Some scenic spots and blocks carry out horse themed exhibitions, horse culture popularization and other activities.
"At the same time, we will also launch a series of activities with five themes, including more than 260 special activities and 100 wonderful performances; launch 10 tourism routes, including Silk Road culture, singing and dancing customs, self driving leisure, and welcome friends from all over the country to Urumqi to experience enthusiasm and customs." It is understood that these tall and beautiful sweating BMWs come from the Xinjiang Ancient Ecological Park located in Urumqi High tech Zone (new urban area), which has become a distinctive "city card" and a "popular place" for tourism card punching. When you enter the park, you can enjoy horse training, equestrian performance, experience traveling in a carriage, riding and taking photos, etc. At present, the park has 16 kinds of world famous horses, including nearly 400 sweat BMW horses and nearly 500 other rare horses. Since its opening in 2016, the park has attracted nearly one million domestic and foreign tourists every year.
