The reporter learned from the 2024 session of the Yellow River Water Conservancy Commission on Xinjiang aid work that this year, the Yellow River Water Conservancy Commission of the Ministry of Water Resources has arranged 35 tasks of Xinjiang aid to provide help and support for the high-quality development of Xinjiang water conservancy.

According to reports, 35 tasks of assistance to Xinjiang this year involve accelerating project review and approval, assisting cadre talent training, strengthening talent training, carrying out technical assistance to Xinjiang and other fields. The Yellow River Water Resources Commission will earnestly perform the management function of river basin management, increase technical support and services in planning and preparation of early project achievements, review and approval, etc., and accelerate the review and signing of administrative permits for water related administrative licensing matters of the recipient units based on the principle of "priority arrangement, special case handling".

Technology and talent assistance to Xinjiang has become another focus of Xinjiang assistance this year. The Yellow River Water Conservancy Commission will coordinate and arrange the recipient units to send young cadres to the Yellow River Water Conservancy Commission for exchange and study according to the needs of Xinjiang water conservancy talents. At the same time, we focused on the needs precisely, targeted special training, increased the professional and technical training of water conservancy, innovated the training mode, expanded the training channels, and continued to improve the professional level and comprehensive quality of the cadres of the recipient units.

The Yellow River Water Resources Commission will also actively carry out technical assistance to Xinjiang, give full play to its policy and technical advantages, select outstanding experts and business backbones to carry out technical guidance, help the recipient units to improve their industrial management ability, scientific research innovation ability and hydrological informatization ability, and further enhance the technical strength of Xinjiang's water conservancy cadre team.

For a long time, the Yellow River Water Conservancy Commission has always regarded the work of assisting Xinjiang as a major political responsibility, and has given Xinjiang full support in project review, technical assistance, talent assistance and other aspects. With the special care and strong support of the Yellow River Water Conservancy Commission, many major water conservancy projects in Xinjiang have been completed and brought into play.
