Siyuan boldface

Siyuan boldface Adobe and Google launched a new open source font in July 2014. Siyuan boldface has seven font thicknesses (ExtraLight, Light, Normal, Regular, Medium, Bold and Heavy). Zol provides Siyuan boldface font downloads. It fully supports Japanese, Korean, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese, as well as Latin, Greek and Cyrillic characters from the Source Sans font family.

1. Siyuan bold font quantity

Siyuan bold font family has seven font thicknesses, fully supporting Japanese, Korean, traditional Chinese and simplified Chinese, all of which are included in one font. It also includes Latin, Greek and Cyrillic characters from our popular Source Sans font family. In general, there are 65535 glyphs for each font thickness in the font family (the maximum limit supported by the OpenType format), while the number of glyphs in the whole font family is close to 500000

The development of Siyuan boldface lasted for four years. In the cooperation between the two sides, Google participated in the definition of project direction and font characteristics, affected font design, provided local testing for font design and documents, and provided financial support. Adobe has shown strong strength in font design and development, bringing solid font design experience, a large number of collaboration and automation technologies. Installation steps

After the compressed package is downloaded and decompressed, copy the font file ". ttf" to the folder "C:/Windows/Fonts" to complete the installation.

Tip: Copy the path "C: WindowsFonts" directly on the computer address bar, and press Enter to open the Windows font folder.

common problem

1. Why does "file corruption" occur during installation?

Answer: This is because the font library conflicts with your system (especially the xp system, because many fonts were previously developed in win98 or earlier versions.)

2. Why can't I find the font when I use it after installing it?

Answer: Some fonts: such as Huakang series. They are displayed in the list as their related pinyin code. You can double-click the font when downloading it back to see what the font name is. Then when you choose to use this font, please select its pinyin character, which is the font you want.

3. Why can't some characters be typed?

Answer: Some word banks can only be typed in traditional Chinese. (For example, Jinmei font library). If the text input with traditional input method is still unable to come out, it may be that the font font library is not complete, and there is no way to type this word.
