Benchmark It is a tool for measuring the transmission speed of SSDs. The AS SSD Benchmark can measure the continuous read/write performance of the SSD, so that you can evaluate the transmission speed of the SSD as long as you use this software to test.

Introduction to Software Basics

AS SSD Benchmark is a SSD SSD performance testing software, which can detect the continuous read/write ability of the SSD through continuous read/write and 4k operations, so that you can detect the transmission speed of the SSD to avoid being cheated. Software features

You can test the performance of SSDs such as continuous read and write, and 4K random read and write.

The test results can be displayed in the form of a graph.

Display status description

(1) Storahci ok and msahci ok are displayed. The former is the SSD driver of Microsoft Win8, and the latter is the driver of Microsoft Win7. It is generally recommended to use this driver to make SSD score more stable. This status indicates that AHCI has been turned on.

(2) Display iaStorA-OK or iaStor-OK. This is Intel Rapid Storage. For some SSDs, the use of this driver may cause the 4K score of SSDs to drop to single digits. Therefore, when the score of SSDs using this driver is very low, you can use the Windows native driver mentioned above. Generally, AHCI has been turned on. Please refer to the display of IDE controller above for details.

(3) The amd_data ok is displayed. This represents the disk drive that comes with AMD. This does not necessarily mean that AHCI is enabled. Please refer to the IDE controller display above for details. It is also recommended to change the driver to the one that comes with Windows. Please refer to upstairs for the change method.

(4) It is displayed as asahci64 ok, or mvs91xx ok. Represents a non native SATA3.0 interface (it is more stable than native SATA2.0). Among them, asahci64 may be the bridge chip of ASMedia Xiangshuo, and mvs91xx is the marvell bridge chip.

(5) Display intelide ok

Indicates that AHCI is not enabled or does not support AHCI at all. Like the early ICH7 South Bridge boards, such as G31 and G41. Of course, the SSD score will be relatively low accordingly. (It is recommended that old computer friends confirm whether their motherboards support ACHI before buying SSDs. Half of SSDs without ACHI are discarded.)

(6) Display as pciide BAD

Indicates that AHCI is not turned on.

(7) Display as nvstor64 ok

Represents a motherboard driver that uses the NVIDIA chipset. Whether AHCI is enabled or not depends on the IDE controller display (according to experience, most of the boards that display this are older ones, and many do not support AHCI)

(8) Display as service ok

Unable to identify the SSD model. Please make sure that the SSD driver is installed and try another version of AS SSDBenchMark.

Installation steps

1. After downloading the AS SSD Benchmark locally, double-click and unzip the in the running package EXE format program.

2. The AS SSD Benchmark can be opened and used according to the prompt.
