"Xiong'an is a good place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city on weekends. You can walk away when you go back in the morning and in the evening. At the end of the day, you feel more than enough, and look forward to meeting Xiong'an again..." Not long ago, Zhao Shuang, a travel enthusiast who lives in Beijing, released the strategy of "visiting Xiong'an in spring" on the social media platform, and received thousands of praise that day.

"We drove along the Beijing Xiongyang Expressway by ourselves, which was very convenient," said Zhao Shuang. "My family lives in the third ring road in southwest Beijing, and the overall journey from home is 1 hour and 15 minutes, which is shorter than the journey from my home to Chaoyang Joy City."

The Beijing Xiongyang Expressway, which will be open to traffic at the end of 2023, together with Beijing Hong Kong Macao Expressway and Daguang Expressway, has improved the regional expressway network. The Beijing Xiongyang Intercity Railway runs more than 10 pairs of trains every day. It takes only 50 minutes from Beijing West Station to Xiong'an Station at the fastest, and 19 minutes from Beijing Daxing Airport to Xiong'an New Area at the fastest.

Today, Beijing Xiongyang Expressway, Beijing Xiongyang Intercity Railway, Tianjin Baoding Railway and Tianjin Xiongyang Expressway have become the main arteries of transportation between Beijing, Tianjin and Xiongyang. On weekends and holidays, some tourists from Beijing and Tianjin drive or take the high-speed railway to Xiong'an to enjoy the beautiful scenery, taste delicious food and feel the rhythm of the growth of the "future city".

Enter the Xiong'an Impression Exhibition Hall located in Xiong'an · Dianjian Zhihui City, and a digital human interpreter in ancient costume leads tourists to explore Xiong'an history and understand urban planning through time and space on the big screen.

"There are three-dimensional sand table models in the exhibition hall, showing Xiong'an's three cities above ground, underground and on the cloud, reflecting Xiong'an's advanced planning and construction concept. Tourists can also experience the wonderful moments of the city's jointing growth by walking into the 'Time Tunnel'." Yan Di, the interpreter of Xiong'an Impression Exhibition Hall, said.

Baiyangdian is a 5A level scenic spot in Xiong'an, with the reputation of "Pearl of North China". It is composed of more than 100 lakes, with reed in spring, lotus in summer, reed in autumn, ice and snow in winter. The four seasons have different scenery and charm.

With the development of the city, the number of tourist attractions in Xiong'an New Area has gradually increased. Scenic spots such as the Song Liao Border Pass Tunnel and the Yanling Team Memorial Hall are good places for tourists to learn about Xiong'an's history and culture. In recent years, Yuerong Park, Jinhu Park, Country Park and other high-quality parks have been completed and put into use, and popular clocking places for tourists have been updated frequently. Walking in the garden, you will feel relaxed and happy with pavilions, bridges, flowing water, flowers and green grass.

"In Yuerong Park Zhongyuan, you can see the beautiful scenery of Xiong'an when you climb the Anhe Tower. Each floor has a different scenery when you step up." Zhao Shuang said that Xiong'an City Computing Center, which is close to the park, is one of Xiong'an landmarks. In the evening, the beautiful scenery of the buildings reflected on the water is a big picture.

Last year, the New Area opened the "Xiong'an Tourism Line 1" free bus, which connects Yuerong Park, Rongdong Sports Park, Xiong'an Impression Exhibition Hall, Central Green Valley and other landmark attractions one by one. Tourists can easily reach their destination by taking free bus from Xiong'an Station.

There are more tourists in Xiong'an, five-star hotels, outlets and cafes have opened one after another, and the city's pyrotechnic atmosphere is getting stronger and stronger. In the restaurants with Xiong'an and Baoding characteristics, tourists can taste the Baiyangdian fish feast, stewed fish with potstickers, lotus chicken with lotus seed, shrimp paste cake, fried lotus flower, roast duck egg and other special foods. Some tourists who like intangible cultural heritage can also buy reed paintings and other cultural and creative handicrafts as souvenirs.

Since its establishment 7 years ago, Xiong'an has increasingly frequent foreign exchanges and its reception capacity has been constantly enhanced. Within 10 minutes' drive from Rongdong District, five high-quality hotels including Xiong'an International Hotel, Sofitel Hotel and Xiong'an Convention and Exhibition Hotel have been put into use, with about 2000 rooms open.
