People's Daily Online, Xiong'an, March 19 (Reporter Li Xueqing) Recently, Xiong'an New Area issued and implemented two local standards, namely, the Specifications for the Setting of Place Name Signs, Streets and Lanes (referred to as the Standards for Streets, Lanes and Lanes) and the Specifications for the Setting of Place Name Signs, Gate and House Plates (referred to as the Standards for Gate and House Plates), which is also the first time that Xiong'an New Area has issued local standards in the field of place names.

It is reported that the "Standards for Streets, Roads and Lanes" and the "Standards for Gate House Boards" were organized and prepared by the Public Service Bureau of Xiong'an New Area, with the joint participation of the Place Name Institute of the Ministry of Civil Affairs and Xiong'an Urban Planning and Design Institute Co., Ltd., and were prepared on the basis of full investigation and research and extensive solicitation of opinions in combination with the actual situation of Xiong'an New Area.

The Standards for Streets, Roads and Lanes stipulates that place names and relevant information should be marked on place name signs; Adopt unified text, color and style; Sign setting shall be synchronized with urban construction to achieve unified planning, reasonable layout, beautiful coordination, solid material, safety and environmental protection; Strengthen the patrol inspection and maintenance of place name signs.

According to the Standard for Doorplate, the number of doorplate shall be in the form of "street, road and lane standard place name+number", and shall be arranged in Arabic numerals from small numerals to large numerals according to the road direction and building location sequence, without skipping, same number or reversing; The Chinese characters on the gate signboard shall use standard place names and standard Chinese characters; The material of the gate plate is durable, and the installation position should be obvious, safe and reliable.
