In late August 2019, Mayor Chen Jun of Changdu, Tibet Autonomous Region, organized a teleconference on the preparation and deployment of the city's "14th Five Year Plan", stressing that the "14th Five Year Plan" is related to the start and promotion of the new journey of Changdu's modernization, the new location and deployment of Changdu's economic and social development, and requires all departments at all levels of the city to pay full attention to it and fully cooperate.
In order to actively respond to the call of the Changdu City Committee and the municipal government, the Changdu New Area Management Committee quickly promoted the preparation of the 14th Five Year Plan Outline of Changdu New Area, and formally signed the contract with our institute in December 2019 on the 14th Five Year Plan Outline of National Economic and Social Development of Changdu New Area in Tibet. After five months of research, writing, communication and discussion, the project team has successfully completed the preparation of the first draft. On May 18, 2020, the project team went to Changdu New Area for the first draft report and supplementary research. Relevant committees and bureaus of Changdu City and the management committee of Changdu New Area attended the meeting as nonvoting delegates, and Li Weidong, president of our hospital, and Sun Lina, deputy chief engineer, attended the meeting. After listening to the report of our institute, the leadership of the management committee highly praised the professional quality, industrial foundation and work efficiency of our project team, fully affirmed our accurate research and judgment on the development stage and foundation of Changdu New Area, and our goal of building the new area into a "national high-tech zone", "agricultural high-tech industrial park" and "industry city integration demonstration zone" in the future, In the next step, our project team will further refine and improve the planning results based on the opinions of various departments.
