At the meeting, Xilingol League released the "Xilingol League Green Power and Wind Turbine Equipment Manufacturing Index White Paper (2023 Edition)", which covers wind turbine equipment advancement index, development index, contribution index, market competitiveness index, green power installation index and green power contribution index.

The white paper shows that in 2023, the actual output of wind turbine host enterprises in Xilingol League will reach 658 sets, the output value will reach 3.8 billion yuan, and the local purchase rate of wind turbine host will reach 100%, ranking first in Inner Mongolia. In the whole year, the new scale of wind power grid connection reached 6.03 million kilowatts, the total scale of wind power grid connection reached 18.19 million kilowatts, and the new energy grid connected installed capacity reached 19.68 million kilowatts. New energy generated 37.8 billion kilowatt hours of electricity in total, with a year-on-year increase of 7.7 billion kilowatt hours of electricity, and 25.2 billion kilowatt hours of new energy power was sent out across regions. Six indicators, namely, the scale of new wind power grid connection, the total scale of wind power grid connection, the total scale of new energy grid connection, new energy power generation, new energy power generation, trans regional new energy power transmission, all rank first in Inner Mongolia, of which the total scale of new energy grid connection and the total scale of wind power grid connection rank third among 293 cities in China.

At the meeting, Xilingol League, Goldwind Technology and Zhongze Group signed framework agreements on equipment manufacturing and green ferroalloy projects respectively, Xilingot City and CRRC Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive Research Institute, Taipusiqi and Shandong Hengliyuan New Energy Co., Ltd. signed framework agreements on project cooperation respectively.

Luo Qing, Deputy Secretary of the Xilingol League Committee and Chief of the Alliance, made a special presentation on investment promotion of the energy equipment manufacturing industry chain at the promotion meeting.

Luo Qing said during the promotion that Xilingol has unlimited "scenery", which is one of the few high-quality scenery resource areas in China. The available resources account for 1/3 and 1/6 of Inner Mongolia respectively. The scale of wind power that can be developed is 60 million kilowatts, and photovoltaic power is more than 100 million kilowatts. With unique location, access and energy system support, and green power low price advantage, it is the nearest area between energy and load center.

In 2023, Xilingol League will deliver 81.2 billion kWh of power to Beijing, North China and East China, with green power accounting for 31%, ranking first among the 12 league cities in Inner Mongolia. Xilingol League is rich in coal resources, with approved coal mines of 205 million tons/year and production capacity of 140 million tons/year. Relying on rich coal resources, it plans to build six pithead power stations, with thermal power installed capacity of 15.68 million kilowatts, and will reach 21 million kilowatts by the end of the 14th Five Year Plan. Xilingol League has rich green power resources and a variety of low price green power supply modes.

In recent years, based on landscape resources and industrial foundation, Xilingol League has adhered to the principle of "focusing on new energy development, equipment manufacturing and other related supporting industries", anchored the precise investment attraction of the "landscape hydrogen storage" industrial chain, and planned to introduce the chain building, chain extension, chain supplement and chain strengthening projects from the perspective of the whole chain. It has attracted and gathered a large number of equipment manufacturing leading enterprises to invest and start business, and the overall capacity of wind turbine is more than 7 million kilowatts. Relying on the rich scenery resources, strategic mineral resources such as lithium, manganese, nickel, cobalt and fluorite, and abundant low-cost green electricity, we will vigorously introduce resources intensive processing and supporting projects. The main body of Ganfeng Lithium's comprehensive utilization project of lithium resources has been completed. The energy storage battery capacity under construction and operation throughout the league is 14GW/year. The manufacturing of scenery hydrogen storage equipment is moving towards large-scale and high-end, The supporting capacity of the whole industry chain is in the forefront of Inner Mongolia, and is building a Xilingol new energy equipment manufacturing base "radiating from the three north regions and facing the whole country".

During the "14th Five Year Plan" period, it is estimated that the annual demand of large megawatt wind power equipment in Xilingol League will be more than 1000 sets, the annual demand of photovoltaic modules will be more than 1 million kilowatts, the annual market size of energy storage power stations will be 2 million kilowatt hours, the new energy household equipment market will be 20000 sets, the replacement market of 100 kilowatt hour mining heavy trucks will be more than 3000 sets, and the annual demand of large power transmission and transformation equipment will be more than 200 sets, The market capacity is huge and the prospect is broad.
