Project Background
As one of the largest enterprises in the world, Baosteel has put forward high requirements for information management and processing capacity at the beginning of its establishment. After more than 20 years of development, Baosteel has built a complete computer system engineering and ERP system, which has laid a good foundation for enterprise informatization; Then, in the month before the 21st century, the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee and the Shanghai Municipal Government held the Shanghai Municipal Informatization Work Conference to deploy and comprehensively promote the development of urban informatization; Under such a background, Baosteel seized the opportunity of the times for the first time and formulated the development strategy of the non steel industry and the development strategy research of Baosteel's software information industry that year; As a wholly-owned subsidiary of Baosteel, Baoxin will take informatization to drive industrialization as its own responsibility, which is an important measure for the Group to adjust its industrial structure, and also the main body to develop the information industry; How to better rely on Baosteel's resource advantages and gradually establish a development model combining main business with sideline business will be the starting point of this planning project.
Project idea
This project is mainly aimed at the information industry. Most of the data are based on the database of the Industrial Institute of the Chinese Academy of Mechanical Engineering to analyze the internal and external environment of Baoxin Company; Externally, it mainly analyzes the factors that affect the industry, including the national macro-economy, the policies and regulations of Shanghai's information industry, the external technology situation, the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain, and the corporate crime head research similar to Baoxin; The internal part mainly analyzes the overall situation and strategy of Baoxin Company, including the company's development history, personnel status, production and sales volume of main businesses, key product systems and development goals in the next few years. Finally, it is believed that Baosteel's information development should take the group company as the base point, establish a data information database for internal subsidiaries and an information database for peer exchange, and then carry out the operation of e-commerce.
Project effect
Baoxin has established its own information database, namely the enterprise decision support system, which has improved the efficiency of enterprise e-commerce operation. Baoxin has also become an important engine for Baosteel's overall development.
