Project Background In the context of industrial upgrading, the Yangtze River Delta has a large demand for new materials. Guandong New Material Industrial Park is facing a favorable industrial situation with strong market foundation and broad market space. A series of new material industry development plans formulated by the state, Jiangsu and Yancheng City have provided a good policy basis for Yancheng to develop new materials.
Project idea After comprehensive analysis, based on the park's positioning as a demonstration base of ecological cycle, green energy conservation, the Chinese Academy of Mechanical Engineering has positioned the park's industry as Jiangsu's largest energy-saving building materials base, eastern coastal farmland transformation and development demonstration site, and China's largest automobile lightweight new material production base 。  Through strict industry screening and industry classification, Guandong New Material Industrial Park is scientifically positioned to build a "2+3+2" modern industrial system in the future. Two leading industries: new metal materials and new building materials. Three first come industries: new energy materials, composite new materials and forward-looking industries. Two basic industries: modern service industry and equipment manufacturing industry. 
Project effect The project successfully passed the expert review and was unanimously recognized by experts and Yancheng Municipal Government. It plays a leading role in the development of new material industry in Yancheng City.
