On June 14, with the first EMU entering Tianfu EMU, the largest EMU in southwest China was completed and put into use. Tianfu EMU is located in Taiping Street, Tianfu New District, Sichuan Province. It is contracted by China Railway 19th Bureau and China Railway Construction Electrification Bureau Group. With a total planning area of about 2090 mu, it is the largest EMU in southwest China. It has 12 maintenance lines, and can repair 24 standard EMUs at the same time. It can undertake the maintenance task of 90 standard EMUs every day.
