Is there any preparation time for IELTS Oral Part 1

In the IELTS Oral Part 2 exam, the official kindly gave the examinee one minute of preparation time to think about what to answer. When some students know this rule, they will naturally be curious. Since Part 2 has it, does Part 1 have time to prepare?

Unfortunately not. The reason why the IELTS official gives a minute of thinking time in Part 2 is that the examinee can continue to say that only one and a half minutes to two minutes is allowed. It's easy to get stuck if you don't prepare. The questions in Part 1 are very close to life, and do not need to do too much thinking, and the answers do not need to be too long( Speaking part 1 of IELTS is better )Therefore, there is no corresponding preparation time, but the answer is required to be given immediately after hearing the question.

In fact, if everyone hesitates for a long time in IELTS Oral Part 1, or thinks for a long time after the examiner has asked questions, the examiner will think that you do not have the ability to answer the corresponding questions, and in most cases will jump to the next question directly. So even if you have no idea for a while, you may say well, let me see or that is a tricky question I have never thought that before, Let the examiner know that you are thinking, and don't just stand still and say nothing.

To sum up, there is no corresponding preparation time for IELTS Oral Part 1, and you are required to answer the questions immediately after you hear them, otherwise your scores will be affected.
