2019 QS World University Ranking Top 50 Universities in Dentistry

Compared with several other majors, many of the top universities are American and British institutions of higher learning. However, dentistry is a special case. The Karolinska Institute (Karolinska College) from Sweden ranked first in the QS global university sub medicine rankings in 2019, and the second place was not the British and American school, but the Dutch ACTA (Amsterdam Dental Academic Center, the Netherlands), and the third place was King's College London, the United Kingdom.

-Will dentists work hard in the future?
In the United States, dentists are much more relaxed than surgeons and have less professional pressure. The main source of stress for dentists may not only be seeing doctors, but also some dentists who operate their own businesses (accounting for the vast majority) need to consider non-medical issues such as management and personnel. Most family doctors who run their own clinics or doctors in other departments are also easier than doctors in hospitals. On the whole, the work of commuting on time is much easier than that of hospitals. In school, dentists are more stressed and tired than medical students.
