Origin of name

The Sibin Bian Stone is also called "Sibin pumice stone" or "Sibin floating chime stone". Kong Yingda, a famous exegetical scholar, said, "Sibin is the bank of the Surabaya River. The stone is beside the water, like floating on the water. This stone can be called a chime stone, so it is called Sibin floating chime stone". Detected by modern medical means, Sibin Bian Stone can emit many far-infrared rays and ultrasonic pulses that are beneficial to human body, promote microcirculation and regulate metabolism, which is equivalent to far-infrared relief instrument+ultrasonic relief instrument.

Component characteristics

Why is Sibin pumice gray and yellow? Microscopic identification shows that the main component of Sibin pumice is calcite, its chemical component is calcium carbonate (CaCO3), and its volume content accounts for 99%. The rest is a small amount of pyrite and clay, accounting for 1%. The total chemical analysis shows that the content of calcium oxide (CaO) in Sibin pumice is 54.6%, and the loss on ignition (CO2) is 42.4%. Both are from calcium carbonate (CaCO3 → CaO+CO2 ↑) in Sibin pumice. The sum of the two weight contents is 97%, which is consistent with the microscopic observation results. As is known to all, the rock composed of calcium carbonate is gray, and the adsorbed oil turns black.

Origin of bian stone

In 1978, a set of 13 chimes was unearthed from the Warring States Tomb in Tengzhou, Shandong Province. Eleven of these chimes were intact and made a wonderful sound when struck. Unfortunately, two of them were damaged. In order to repair this set of chimes, Mr. Yang Junzi, a Shandong music professor, searched a large number of ancient books and documents for the stones used to make the chimes, and found that one of Xuzhou's tributes at that time was Sibin floating chimes. The Sibin pumice stone used to make this set of chimes was found by Mr. Yang Junzi after he traveled all over the Surabaya River basin, and the two damaged chimes were repaired, restoring the integrity of the ancient chimes. At the first art festival in China in 1987, the ancient Sibin floating chime in China made a solemn and wonderful sound again to the world. Mr. Yang Junzi's work made people see and obtain Sibin pumice again. In the 1980s, a rare Sibin floating chime stone (stone) that had been lost for 2000 years was found.

A social oriented "Qing and Health Research" activity lasted for nearly two years, which repeatedly developed various shapes of Bian tools with Sibin Fuqing (stone), carried out relief and health care practice, obtained a large number of clinical data of hands, and summarized various techniques, That is, "scraping, pushing, wiping, rubbing, rubbing, wrapping, cooling, scratching, pulling, tapping, pressing, vibrating, holding, clapping, snapping, chopping, warming, clearing, feeling, and electric heating". Later, it was called "Twenty one Bian Techniques".

Second, a large amount of literature research shows that the Bian tools made of Sibin Fuqing (stone) are authentic "Bian". There are four evidences: "Bian comes from the east" in the Yellow Emperor's Canon of Internal Medicine. "East" refers to the "marine cultural belt" starting from Laizhou Bay in Shandong Province in the north and ending in Jiangsu and Zhejiang Province in the south. The so-called "land of fish and salt" is near the southeast coast, which is one of them; In the History of the Road written by Song Luobi, it is said that "Fuxi tasted grass and made needles to cure people's diseases; A large number of Bian tools were unearthed in Juxian County, Dawenkou and other places;

Third, Sibin Fuqing (stone) has been tested for nearly three years in six laboratories of three ministries, namely, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Ministry of Nuclear Industry, the Seismological Bureau, the Beijing Institute of Basic Medicine of Traditional Chinese Medicine and other prestigious laboratories. The results are as follows:
