The distance between Daxing Airport and the central urban area of Beijing is more than twice the distance between the Capital International Airport and the central urban area of Beijing. On the afternoon of the 13th, the News Center of the Conference of Asian Civilizations Dialogue and the Information Office of the Beijing Municipal Government organized the Changjiang Daily and other Chinese and foreign media to cover the airport's supporting transportation construction. Shi Lixin, the general manager of Beijing Beijing Investment Transportation Development Co., Ltd. (Beijing Investment Transportation Company) in charge of the construction of Daxing Airport Expressway, introduced that the Daxing Airport Expressway starts from the South Fifth Ring Road of Beijing in the north and ends at the northern boundary of the airport in the south, with a total length of about 27 kilometers and eight two-way lanes. It is expected to be open to traffic in June 2019.

At the scene of Pang'an Road of Daxing Airport Expressway, the reporter of Changjiang Daily saw a very spectacular three-dimensional traffic "complex" at the scene: the top layer is the two-way 8-lane Daxing Airport Expressway, the next layer is the Beijing Xiongyang High speed Railway (high-speed railway trains with a speed of 300 kilometers per hour will run), the third layer is the airport light rail (the speed of light rail will be up to 160 kilometers per hour), and the fourth layer is Tuanhe Road, an ordinary traffic lane, The bottom floor is the underground utility tunnel. The height difference of these five floors is nearly 30 meters, equivalent to ten floors. According to the construction party, this kind of highway, light rail and high-speed rail joint structure is the first one at home and abroad.
