The report released by the Ministry of Trade and Industry of Singapore on May 23 shows that Singapore's economic growth has accelerated. In the first quarter of this year, the gross domestic product (GDP) grew 2.7% year-on-year, higher than the 2.2% growth in the fourth quarter of last year.
