The data also showed that 5274 new cases were confirmed in the UK that day, and 4499878 cases were confirmed in total; There were 18 new deaths and 127812 cumulative deaths.

British Prime Minister Johnson said on social media on the 3rd that he had received the second dose of COVID-19 vaccine. Johnson also urged people to get vaccinated as soon as possible after receiving the vaccination notice.

The British Ministry of Health said in a statement the same day that the government had achieved the goal of vaccinating the most vulnerable population with the new crown vaccine by April 15. According to the current progress, it is expected that all adults will be vaccinated with the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine by the end of July.

British Health Secretary Hancock said that the second dose of NCV is very important in enhancing immune protection, especially for some mutated NCV. For this reason, the British health agency has shortened the interval between two doses of vaccine for the most vulnerable population.
