Pang Qing/Tong Jian is a famous pair skater in China. Together with Shen Xue/Zhao Hongbo and Zhang Dan/Zhang Hao, they learned from famous coach Yao Bin. They have entered the top three of the world championships for many times and won the fourth place in the 2006 Winter Olympics. At the subsequent World Championships, Pang Qing/Tong Jian played well in free skating when the short program ranked second, overtaking teammate Zhang Dan/Zhang Hao and winning the world championship for the first time.
