People's Daily Online, Wuhan, April 13 (Reporter Hao Ping, Liang Qiuping) The reporter learned from the Ministry of Public Security that on the morning of April 13, with two CAAC chartered planes landing at Wuhan Tianhe International Airport in Hubei Province, the first batch of 130 Chinese criminal suspects involved in gambling and fraud were taken back from Cambodia by our public security organs. This is the first batch of repatriation and escort tasks organized by the Chinese and Cambodian police this year, which marks the beginning of the joint fight between the police of the two countries against gambling and fraud.

In recent years, in order to crack down on cross-border gambling, telecommunications network fraud and other prominent crimes in accordance with the law, the Chinese and Cambodian police have closely cooperated and cooperated with each other, constantly deepening the crackdown, and achieved a series of remarkable results. On the basis of the preliminary work and in accordance with the national work plan for combating cross-border gambling, our public security organs and the Cambodian police recently organized a joint action to combat gambling, fraud, illegal crimes. During the operation, Cambodian police destroyed several gambling dens in Sihanouk City, captured a large number of Chinese criminal suspects, and seized a number of servers, computers, mobile phones and other crime tools involved. Under the command of the Ministry of Public Security, the Hubei public security organ sent a working group to Cambodia to carry out repatriation and escort work with the Cambodian police, and escorted the above personnel back to China in batches in the form of civil aviation charter flights from now on.
