If the teams at the same point compete with each other, the performance of each other will be compared in priority. If the teams at the same point do not compete with each other, the net goal will be compared in priority.

The top two of Serie A will be eligible for the Champions League group competition, the third will be eligible for the Champions League qualification competition, and the fourth and fifth will be eligible for the Europa League competition (the Italian Cup winner will be directly eligible for the Europa League competition); The 18th to 20th places were demoted.

The winners and losers of the same team rank first.

1、 Ranking method

(1) Each team wins a game and gets 3 points, draws a game and gets 1 point, loses a game and gets 0 point.

(2) After all the competitions of this season are completed, those with more points rank first. If two or more teams have equal points, rank them in the following order:

  • 1. Teams with equal points compete with each other for more points, ranking in front;
  • 2. The teams with equal points who have more net goals in competition with each other rank first;
  • 3. The teams with equal points who score more goals in each other's competitions rank first;
  • 4. The player with more goal difference in all competitions this season ranks first;
  • 5. Those who score more goals in all competitions this season rank first;
  • 6. Those with high points in fair competition this season will rank first;
  • 7. Ranking shall be determined by drawing lots.

(3) During the season of the Chinese Super League, if two or more teams have equal points, those with more goals difference between teams with equal points will rank first.

2、 Demote and Upgrade

(1) The club ranked last three in the Chinese Super League this season will be demoted and will participate in the Chinese Super League next year after passing the admission qualification examination.

(2) The top three clubs in the League A this season can participate in the next year's CSL after passing the admission qualification inspection. If they fail to meet the relevant requirements of the anti implementation rules of the China Football Association Professional League Club Access Conditions and Review Measures, they cannot be upgraded, and the rules of replacement shall be implemented in accordance with the relevant provisions of the China Football Association.

(3) In case of any special circumstances such as the reduction of the number of participating teams due to various reasons, the relevant regulations of the China Football Association shall prevail.

(1) Before the start of the group game, the scoreboard is automatically generated randomly, and the actual ranking is not in any order;

(2) Each team wins a game and gets 3 points, draws a game and gets 1 point, loses a game and gets 0 point;

(3) In front of the rank column with more points;

(4) At the end of the group game, if two or more teams have equal points, rank them in the following order:;

Between teams with equal points

  • a. Multiple points in mutual competition
  • b. The winner of more than one goal difference
  • c. Those who score more goals in mutual competitions
  • d. The number of goals scored away from each other
  • e. If two or three teams are identical after comparing the first four items, these teams will be taken out separately and compared in the order of a-d
  • f. More than one goal difference
  • g. Those with more goals in total
  • h. If only two teams are identical in the above events and the two teams meet in the last round, the ranking will be determined through penalty shootout
  • i. Teams with less red and yellow cards (see remarks)
  • i. The league in which the team belongs ranks first in the AFC technical score ranking (MA Ranking) of the previous year

Note: 1 point for each yellow card taken by the team player, 3 points for the red card taken by the player who accumulates two yellow cards, 3 points for the direct red card taken by the player, 4 points for the direct red card taken by the player who first eats the yellow card and then eats the red card directly, and finally the team with less accumulated points ranks higher in the scoreboard when comparing the relationship between red and yellow cards (rule i).

According to the latest competition system, the Asian World Preliminaries of the 2018 Russia World Cup will be divided into three stages.

The first stage: the AFC teams ranking lower in the world will conduct qualification matches according to the home and away matches;

The second stage: consists of 40 teams that won the first stage qualification contest and those who did not participate in the qualification contest. They are divided into 8 groups. Five teams in each group will compete in the top 40 matches. The first team in each group and the second team in the four best teams will qualify for the top 12 matches in the third stage;

The third stage: the 12 teams are divided into two groups for a home and away double round robin contest. The first two teams directly qualify for the Russia World Cup finals. The third of the two groups is to decide the play off place and compete with other continents for another World Cup place.

A total of 53 teams participated in the preliminary contest, which was divided into 9 groups and enjoyed 13 qualification places. The preliminary contest was divided into two stages:

The first stage: 53 teams are divided into 9 groups for home and away matches, with 6 teams in each group, one of which is 5 teams. The first nine teams in each group won the World Cup directly; The 8 teams with the best results enter the second stage.

The second stage: promote to the 8 branches in the second stage

There are 10 teams in South America, which still use the big round robin competition system, starting from September or October of the second year of the last World Cup. The number of places allocated by FIFA to South American teams to participate in the World Cup finals is still 4.5. That is, the top four will be promoted directly, and the fifth will compete with the Central and North American teams for a qualification to participate in the final stage of the game, and the winner will be promoted.

3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, and 0 point for a loss. Each team will play against other teams in the same group once, and the top two groups will be qualified.

If two or more teams have the same points, the scores shall be compared according to the following rules:

The top two of each group will be directly promoted to the European Championship finals. Group matches are ranked according to the number of points. If two or more teams have the same points, they are ranked according to the following rules:

  • a. Points between competitions;
  • b. The number of net victories between competitions;
  • c. The number of goals in each match;
  • d. The number of goals scored away from each other's matches;
  • e. If there are still teams that have not been ranked after applying the a-d rule, then apply the a-d rule to compare the teams that have not been ranked. If such a cycle still cannot be confirmed, then determine the ranking according to the f-j rule;
  • f. Group game goal difference;
  • g. Number of goals in group matches;
  • h. The number of away goals in the group match;
  • i. Fair competition score;
  • j. UEFA ranking.

The third place with the best results of 9 groups will be directly promoted to the European Championship finals. When comparing the third place with the best result, the eight reference teams in A-H group need to exclude their competition results against the sixth place in this group, and then compare with those in Group I. The ranking is determined according to the following rules:

  • a. Group match points;
  • b. Group game goal difference;
  • c. Number of goals in group matches;
  • d. The number of away goals in the group match;
  • e. Fair competition score;
  • f. UEFA ranking.

The third place of the remaining eight groups enters the play off stage. The eight teams were divided into two, two and four pairs by drawing lots for the home and away play offs. The team with more goals in the two rounds of play offs will be promoted. If the results of the two teams are equal, the team with more goals in the away game will be promoted. If they are still the same, they will enter the 15 minute overtime match in the first half and the second half of the game. If neither team scores in the overtime match, a penalty shoot out will be conducted to determine the outcome.

The eight teams are divided into Group A and Group B for single round robin competition, and the top two teams of the group qualify for the semi-finals;

The team points are equal and the seats are arranged according to the following provisions: net goal; Win lose relationship between the two sides; Number of goals; Draw lots;

Semi final match: the first place in Group A matches the second place in Group B, and the first place in Group B matches the second place in Group A; The loser of two games competes for the third place, and the winner of two games competes for the champion.

The 32 participating teams are divided into eight groups, and each group has four teams to play. Each team must play with the other three teams and only play one game. The winning game has 3 points, the drawing game has 1 point, and the losing game has 0 point.

  • 1. Teams with more points rank first
  • 2. Teams with more goal difference rank first
  • 3. Teams with many goals rank first
  • 4. If two or more teams cannot be ranked according to the above method
  • a. Calculate the points of the games between these teams, and the teams with more points are in front
  • b. Calculate the goal difference between these teams, and the teams with more goal difference are ranked first
  • c. Calculate the goals scored between these teams, and the teams with more goals are ranked first
  • 5. If the above methods are still unable to determine the ranking, according to the rules of fair competition, the ranking will be higher than the former
  • 6. Draw lots to determine the ranking

A total of 51 teams participated in the qualifier, and there were 5 qualification places. The qualifier was divided into three stages:

The first stage: the six teams with the lowest ranking of FIFA and the lower ranking of 51 teams will have the qualification match first, and the three winning teams will advance to the second stage

The second stage: the three teams that won in the first stage and the 45 teams that did not participate in the first stage of the qualification match were divided into 12 groups, and four teams in each group played home and away group matches. The first team of 12 teams and the second team of 8 teams with the best performance. A total of 20 teams have entered the third stage

The third stage: the 20 teams promoted in the second stage were divided into five groups for home and away matches, and each group won the first place in the World Cup.

Note: The African qualifying matches are the same as the African Cup of Nations.

The first stage: 10 teams except New Zealand will participate in the South Pacific Games, and the top three will be promoted to the second stage.

The second stage: the three teams promoted in the first stage will participate in the second stage with New Zealand. The four teams will play home and away league matches. The first two teams will be promoted to the third stage.

The third stage: the two teams in the second stage will play home and away. The winner will play home and away with the fifth place in Asia, and the winner will win the World Cup.

The first stage: 23 teams ranked lower by FIFA will participate in the first stage. One team will take a turn off, and the other 22 teams will have a home away knockout match. The 11 winning teams plus the team taking a turn off will enter the second stage.

The second stage: the 12 teams that did not participate in the first stage of the game will have home and away knockout matches with the 12 teams that passed the first stage, and the 12 winning teams will enter the third stage;

The third stage: the 12 teams that entered the third stage were divided into three groups. Each group of four teams had home and away knockout matches, with the top two teams in each group. A total of six teams entered the fourth stage;

The fourth stage: the six winning teams in the third stage will have a home and away round robin match. The top three teams with points will directly win the World Cup places. The fourth team and the fifth team in South America will have a home and away knockout match. The winner will win the World Cup places.
