Xi'an International Port Station is the station with the largest number of China Europe regular trains in China. In 2023, more than 5000 China Europe trains will be sent from here.

"The goods on the X8157 train are gathered here." Shao Boer, the general manager of Xi'an International Inland Port Multimodal Transport Co., Ltd., is proud to be the source organization of the 90000th China Europe Train.

Shao Boer opened the list of goods of the train. Some of the goods came from Shaanxi, and many of them came from Shanghai, Guangzhou, Yiwu and other cities, or were transported to Xi'an by railway or road. "These are our customers in the early stage".

Shao Boer introduced that the China Europe Express is fast and efficient, with favorable prices and high stability. The transportation time is about 1/3 of that of sea transportation, and the transportation cost is only 1/8 to 1/6 of that of air transportation.

In particular, from July 2023, Xi'an International Port Station will launch the "two to one" round-trip regular operation of the whole schedule train, which will reduce the operation time by more than 30% compared with the ordinary train, and its attraction will be enhanced again.

The 90000th China Europe Train is loaded with aluminum battery raw materials, auto parts, LCD panels and other goods.

The data shows that the annual freight value of China Europe Express has increased from US $8 billion in 2016 to US $56.7 billion in 2023, and the categories of goods have expanded to more than 50000 of 53 categories. At present, the comprehensive heavy box rate of China Europe trains is stable at 100%.

What is "pick car"? It turns out that the train bottoms are recycled. The China Europe train has a long running distance and high requirements for vehicles. The staff must select the vehicle bottoms that meet the international intermodal transport standards, run at a speed of 120 kilometers per hour and are in good condition and fault free from a large number of empty vehicle bottoms.

As the freight car inspector of Xi'an East Depot, Zhao Xinping's daily work is to check the train with the handheld while bending over to check the technical status of the train. "I always feel a sense of achievement when I think that our country's export goods can be safely delivered abroad by the train I choose," said Zhao Xinping.

The whole process took less than two minutes. This operation was repeated repeatedly. In less than an hour, the 90000th China Europe Train was loaded and full of goods.

"Now, on average, there is a China Europe train leaving or arriving here in 100 minutes, which requires our work to be fast and accurate." Yuan Jiajing said that she had to lift more than 100 containers at most in a day.

After three days' driving, the X8157 China Europe Train arrived at Khorgos Railway Port Station on May 28 via Lanzhou, Gansu and Urumqi, Xinjiang.

Just as people need passports, visas and security checks to go abroad, China Europe Train also needs a pass to go abroad and be checked. At Khorgos Railway Port Station, the X8157 China Europe Train will apply for its own "passport".

The train has not yet arrived at the station. Bai Hanguo, the chief salesman of the International Intermodal Transport Department of China Railway Container Urumqi Branch, has contacted Yang Haisheng, the customs broker. Yang Haisheng had prepared the customs transfer materials early and tried to ensure the smooth exit of the train. "This train only took 38 minutes from the receipt of the arrival note by the customs to the release".

Behind the minute level customs clearance, it benefits from the construction of digital ports.

Relying on the 95306 and "Digital Port" system, once the X8157 China Europe Train departs, the train, goods, shipper, consignee and other information will be transmitted to the customs departments, port stations, agents and foreign railway companies in real time to automatically complete customs declaration.

"In this way, when the train arrives at the port, as long as the information is checked and normal, the customs will release it immediately." Yang Haisheng said that in order to complete customs declaration, it used to need to run many times, but now most of them only need to run once, or even go online without leaving home.

Not only that, the customs also extended the working hours. Previously, if the train arrived at the port at night, it was necessary to make an appointment for inspection in advance; Now, the customs implements 24-hour handling, and can accept inspection no matter how late the train arrives at the port.

Baihanguo has also been paying close attention to the situation of the train, "If it is found that the train stays at the port for more than 4 hours, we will quickly contact the staff to find out the reason for the detention, and then coordinate with the station to solve it."

After a while, the X8157 China Europe Train obtained its own "passport", which is a kraft paper bag, recording the departure, arrival, goods and other information of the train, as well as the "ID number".

At Khorgos Port, the railway departments of China and Kazakhstan shall hand over relevant bills for each inbound and outbound China Europe train, which will be kept in a bill bag. From 100 to 800 every day, there are nearly 300000 bill bags in the bill warehouse, which has become one of the "archives" of China Europe Express.

To obtain a "passport", the China Europe Express needs a key step - changing clothes if it wants to leave the country.

When entering the passenger and freight yard of Khorgos Railway Port Station, one side of the platform is standard gauge, and its gauge is 1.435m; The other side is wide gauge, and its gauge is 1.52m. The huge gantry crane works back and forth, grabbing containers from the standard rail to the bottom of the car on the wide rail.

"In recent years, we have been increasing hardware investment, increasing the reload line, making the reload more convenient and reducing the number of trains queuing up." Buyinbatu Sarna, director of the freight workshop of Xinjiang Railway Khorgos Station, said, "The reload time of each China Europe train has been shortened from three hours to more than one hour."

After the change of clothes, the X8157 China Europe Train accepted the last border inspection at the border inspection site, and then started the outbound trip. It is expected that the 90000th China Europe Train will arrive in Malashevich, Poland, around June 9.

Horgos, a small border city with a permanent population of less than 100000, has also ushered in new development due to China Europe Express. In 2023, there will be 7762 China EU trains at Khorgos Port, up 9.8% year on year, a record high. Today, more than 20 China Europe trains leave or enter China via the Khorgos railway port every day, radiating 18 countries, 46 cities and regions.

From 2016 to 2023, the scale and efficiency of China Europe regular trains will become larger and larger: the annual number of trains will increase from 1702 to more than 17000, with an average annual growth of 39.5%; The time required to run 10000 trains has been shortened from 90 months at the beginning of the operation to 7 months now. At present, the good news is still coming: the Central Europe Train of Urumqi Salerno South Passage in Italy is running smoothly; From 0:00 on June 15, the running frequency of Xi'an Duisburg full journey schedule trains will increase to 7 trains a week (four to three times)
