After investigation, the China Wildlife Conservation Association has illegally established three level branches, including the "Frog Breeding Committee", the "Snake Breeding Committee", the "Giant Salamander Committee", and the "Sturgeon Committee", under its branches, the "Conservation, Breeding and Utilization Committee" and the "Aquatic Wildlife Conservation Branch". The above behavior violates the provisions of Article 17 of the Regulations on the Registration and Administration of Social Organizations that "branches of social organizations shall not set up any more branches". According to the provisions of Item (5), Paragraph 1, Article 30 of the Regulations on the Registration and Administration of Social Organizations, the Ministry of Civil Affairs has issued an administrative punishment of warning to the China Wildlife Conservation Association, And has ordered it to cancel its branches established in violation of regulations. At the same time, according to the provisions of the Measures for the Administration of Credit Information of Social Organizations, the Ministry of Civil Affairs has included the association in the abnormal list of social organization activities since the date of the administrative penalty decision taking effect.

All social organizations should take this as a warning, strengthen the study of policies and regulations, strengthen the concept of law and discipline, improve the awareness of law and discipline, and carry out activities in strict accordance with laws and regulations. At the same time, it is necessary to comprehensively improve the internal management mechanism, standardize the establishment of branches, representative offices and other acts, and prohibit the establishment of regional branches, branches and representative offices under branches and representative offices. Branches and representative offices shall not be named after various legal organizations, and shall not use "China" in the names of branches and representative offices "China", "the whole country", "the country" and other words shall be used in carrying out activities with the full standardized name of the social organization.
