The China Youth Skiing Intercollegiate League is a nationwide youth skiing event jointly created by the China Skiing Association and the Beijing Skiing Association, which is registered by schools. It is also another masterpiece of the China Skiing Association for the development of youth skiing after the China Youth Skiing Grand Prix. In order to let young people experience a more professional competitive atmosphere, the event organizing committee selected the Grand Slalom Circuit of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games and invited the referee team of the Beijing Winter Olympic Organizing Committee.

This competition attracted more than 300 players from all over the world. After two days of fierce competition, the ski team of Renmin University of China affiliated middle school won the championship, the ski team of Peking University affiliated middle school won the runner up, and the ski team of Renmin University of China affiliated primary school won the third place.

A member of the ski team from the primary school affiliated to Renmin University of China said after the competition that it was unusual to come to the Beijing Winter Olympic Games to ski, and it was even more exciting to win the third place. "I hope we can continue to work hard to bridge the gap and devote ourselves more professionally to skiing."

In 2016, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Education, the General Administration of Sport of the People's Republic of China and the National Tourism Administration issued the Development Plan of Ice and Snow Sports (2016-2025), which clearly put forward the development outline and goals of the national primary and secondary school campus ice and snow sports. Driven by policy support, China's youth ice and snow sports have shown a blowout trend of rapid development.

Ni Shoujun, deputy secretary-general of Beijing Skiing Association, said that the holding of the inter school league promoted the enthusiasm of the school to participate in ice and snow sports, and provided a platform for young skiers across the country to exchange and learn from each other. "The way of school team building has activated the sports life on campus and accelerated the development of skiing among young people. Skiing has become the most fashionable and concerned sport for primary and secondary school students in winter."
