In accordance with the relevant requirements of the Measures for the Selection of Outstanding Graduates of Beijing Regular Institutions of Higher Learning (JJG [2023] No. 2) and the Measures for the Implementation of Postgraduate Awards of Beijing Jiaotong University, the selection of outstanding graduates of Beijing regular institutions of higher learning, outstanding graduates of Beijing Jiaotong University and outstanding graduate cadres in 2024 is now launched. The specific arrangements are as follows:
1、 Selection objects and proportion
Full time non targeted graduate students in the school (June 2024).
2、 Basic conditions for selection
（1） Support the leadership of the Communist Party of China, love the motherland, have a firm and correct political direction, and consciously practice the core socialist values.
（2） Abide by disciplines and laws, be upright, have a strong sense of integrity and good academic ethics.
（3） Studied hard and won the honorary title above the school level during the school period; Excellent thesis defense performance; Actively participate in social practice and volunteer service, and have strong practical ability and innovation ability; Graduates who have important inventions or made outstanding contributions to the school and society during their school years can be recommended and selected preferentially.
（4） Actively participate in physical exercise and keep healthy physically and mentally.
（5） Establish a correct concept of employment, and there is no record of breach of contract in the process of employment. Graduates who have responded to the national call to devote themselves to national defense, and volunteered to work and start businesses in the west, in difficult remote areas, and at the grass-roots level, can be recommended and selected preferentially.
（6） Outstanding graduate cadres must have served as Party and Youth League branch committees, class and class committees, two level graduate student associations, three committees, part-time counselors, graduate student associations and other social work during their school years, and have served for one year. They are conscientious, responsible, hardworking, and have made outstanding contributions.
（7） Graduates who have been punished and have bad credit records in school shall not participate in the selection.
3、 Selection method
（1） Recommended by the college. After being nominated by the class, recognized by the Party branch, and investigated by the college, the college will determine the recommended list according to the selection conditions and the principle of selecting the best, and report it to the Research and Work Department after being publicized in the college.
（2） Approved by the school. The Research and Engineering Department shall review the recommended list and materials submitted by the College, and determine the list of outstanding graduates and outstanding graduate cadres. After being reviewed and approved by the president's office meeting, Beijing outstanding graduates will be reported to the Municipal Education Commission, which will issue the honorary certificate of outstanding graduates of Beijing ordinary colleges and universities.

Name - Approval Form for Outstanding Graduates of Beijing Ordinary Colleges and Universities (paper+electronic) （ be careful ： The Examination and Approval Form for Outstanding Graduates of Regular Institutions of Higher Learning in Beijing requires: (1) front and back printing (2 pages and 1 sheet), and neither the paper version nor the electronic version can adjust the layout or add more pages; (2) The certificate is required to be one inch, without background color requirements; (3) Sign opinions and signatures level by level (can be signed manually), and students' signatures need to be handwritten or electronic; (4) The content of "Graduation Destination" is: domestic education, domestic employment, going abroad, self entrepreneurship, others.) |
5、 Job requirements
（1） Strengthen leadership. Each college should earnestly strengthen the organization and leadership, and make overall arrangements for the selection process and time.
（2） Strict procedures. The selection process should be fair, just and open; Strictly grasp the selection conditions and standards, and the recommended list shall be publicized throughout the hospital.
6、 Other matters
For the additional conditions of outstanding graduates and outstanding graduate cadres, please refer to the relevant provisions of Articles 31 and 32 of the Measures for the Implementation of Graduate Awards of Beijing Jiaotong University in the Graduate Handbook. Outstanding graduates of Beijing ordinary colleges and universities should be recommended from outstanding graduates of Beijing Jiaotong University or outstanding graduate cadres. The honorary certificate of municipal outstanding graduates (electronic version) shall be issued by the Municipal Education Commission.
For graduate students who have been awarded honorary titles such as excellent graduates at the university and city level, if they do not meet the requirements of merit evaluation before graduation, the university will withdraw their certificates and approval materials.
