On June 14, the provincial symposium on promoting high-quality development of traditional Chinese medicine industry was held in Pengzhou, Chengdu. In recent years, various relevant departments and enterprises around the country have vigorously promoted the standardized planting of medicinal materials and industrial development, and achieved positive results. However, there are still problems such as insufficient genuine protection and "large but not strong" industry.

The meeting stressed that it is necessary to rely on good varieties and methods, scientifically standardize planting, carry out key Chinese herbal medicine breeding research, improve the breeding mechanism of good varieties, and cultivate new business entities. It is necessary to create an industrial ecology, promote the genuine origin of medicinal materials to meet the "high price" demand for high-quality medicinal materials, introduce powerful enterprises to promote the construction of customized drug parks, origin warehouses and the enterprise's own traceability system, and use the terminal high price to drive the front-end quality. It is necessary to establish an acceptance system, improve the quality testing technology of medicinal materials, urge pharmaceutical enterprises and hospitals to strictly carry out purchase acceptance, strengthen supervision and law enforcement, and ensure good quality. It is necessary to promote the innovative and integrated development of "industry university research" and "medical teaching research", cultivate large varieties according to local conditions, optimize the approval and listing services of innovative drugs, support enterprises to develop large health products, and build Sichuan medicine brands. It is necessary to strengthen collaboration and policy support, improve the quality and efficiency of service to enterprises, and form joint efforts.
