The 20th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industry Fair (hereinafter referred to as "Shenzhen ICIF") will be held from May 23 to 27. Shenzhen ICIF is known as "the first exhibition of China's cultural industry", and the annual exhibition has also become an important exhibition platform for the development of cultural industries in various regions.

What are the highlights of this ICIF Sichuan Pavilion? On the eve of the opening ceremony, the reporter visited the Shenzhen ICIF.

　　 Digital empowerment, blooming the splendor of Bashu culture era

Sichuan Pavilion is located in Hall 15 of Shenzhen International Convention and Exhibition Center. Above the exhibition hall, the lovely giant pandas, mysterious Sanxingdui gold masks and other digital images with Sichuan characteristics make the Sichuan exhibition hall very eye-catching.

These digital images are highlighting the theme of this year's Sichuan Pavilion "Digital Enabling Culture Sichuan".

At the main entrance of the museum, an ultra-high definition immersive experience space with the theme of "Sanxingdui Jinsha Site" was created by using the "Made in Sichuan" XR technology. This space is composed of thousands of LED flexible screens. With the use of ultra-high definition immersive display technology, combined with unique flexible screen splicing, fusion perspective and other cutting-edge technologies, a virtual reality digital space with high immersion, high definition and interactive experience for many people is constructed in the space of irregular curved surfaces.

Sichuan has a profound history and rich cultural resources. This year's Sichuan Pavilion fully demonstrates the digital technology empowerment, which makes Bashu culture blossom.

At the exhibition stand of Sichuan Daily Newspaper Group, the picture of Sichuan Newspaper Museum came into view. At the same time, a series of intelligent media technology applications, such as Chuanguan Digital Journalists, made Bashu culture "live".

On the large LED screen in the central area, the plane naked eye 3D video of "Sanxingdui - Sleeping for Thousands of Years, Awakening and Surprising the World" is played circularly, and the 17 selected cultural relics of Sanxingdui are connected into a civilization journey spanning time and space.

Video begins with the "gate of time and space". The sand is flying, the eyes of the bronze mask half buried in the soil slowly open, the camera is pushed closer, and the air current is surging, bringing the audience's attention to the door of time and space three or four thousand years ago; The bronzes, gold artifacts and other cultural relics of Sanxingdui jump out of the picture with the naked 3D effect, and the magnificent and splendid ancient Shu civilization seems to be within reach... The most mysterious "tenth bird" on the bronze divine tree hovers around the divine tree in the form of particles. With the longitudinal extension of the lens, the quiet and spectacular panorama of Sanxingdui Museum is presented.

The reporter saw at the scene that the latest achievements of Sichuan Daocheng Piluo Site and Sichuan Guanghan Sanxingdui Site Sacrifice Area, which were selected as the "Top Ten Archaeological Discoveries in 2021", were also "moved" to the Sichuan Pavilion. The exquisite replica of hand axe and hand pick excavated in Daocheng 130000 years ago at the Paleolithic Pilo site, as the highest Ashelian technology relic in the world at present, witnessed the historical process of early human landing on the Qinghai Tibet Plateau. The bronze head with gold mask and the bronze figure with head turned and kneeling at Sanxingdui Ruins show the resplendence of Bashu culture.

The reporter learned at the scene that the 810 square meter Sichuan Pavilion is divided into four sections, namely, "digital empowerment new climate", "digital transformation new vitality", "new scene of digital consumption", and "new format of digital culture", gathering more than 40 key cultural enterprises and units focusing on culture and technology in the province.

On the right side of the main entrance, the top ten cultural development events of Sichuan Province in 2023, such as the grand holding of the first Golden Panda Award, were highlighted, showing the prosperity and development of Sichuan's cultural undertakings.

In September 2023, the first Golden Panda Award was successfully held in Chengdu. With the media of light and shadow and the introduction of giant pandas, it sang the strong voice of the era of colorful civilization exchange and mutual learning, and had a wide and positive impact at home and abroad. The reporter learned that the Golden Panda Night (Shenzhen Station), the global promotion activity of the 2024 Golden Panda Award, will be held in Shenzhen with the help of the Shenzhen International Cultural Expo, to further expand the influence and popularity of the Golden Panda Award, and to let more people know Sichuan and Sichuan.

In the left area, the Tianfu Media Consortium shows the new atmosphere of cultural digitalization construction.

On the spot, the systematic research and publicity of Shu Road were demonstrated through multimedia technology. Sichuan High Standard Shudao Research Institute systematically promotes interdisciplinary research on archaeological investigation, documentation, ecological protection and other aspects of Shudao.

In Sichuan Pavilion, new cultural brands such as Alai Study, Sichuan Hall of Fame, Sichuan Rural Culture Revitalization Charm Competition "Xiangdangchao", new cultural formats such as King Glory, National Ultra HD Video Innovation Center, etc., and new cultural consumption scenes such as Eying Digital Film Innovation Application Laboratory, Sichuan Xinhua Publishing and Distribution Group "Panda Bookstore", All of these show that Sichuan takes on the new cultural mission and creates a new situation for the development of cultural industry.
