The Sichuan Women and Children's Center, located on Tianfu 3rd Street, Chengdu, will open to the public on this day. Li Min, member of the Party Leadership Group and vice chairman of the Sichuan Women's Federation, announced the news at the news briefing held on the 22nd.

Li Min introduced that the Sichuan Women and Children's Center is a key livelihood project of the provincial party committee and government, and is a comprehensive and multi-functional front for women, children and families in the province, which is managed by the provincial women's federation. The project covers an area of 28.8 mu, with a total investment of 480 million yuan, a building area of 67400 square meters, 18 floors above the ground, 2 floors underground, and 3 floors of the podium. The main body of the building is like a tulip in bud.

With the development orientation of "based in Chengdu, facing the grassroots, serving the whole province; radiating southwest, linking the whole country, and going to the world", the provincial women and children's center strives to build a "platform for children's growth, women's development, and family building", plays the role of the provincial center in pulling, radiating, demonstrating, and driving, and links with women and children's positions in cities and counties, Efforts should be made to build the center into a main front to convey the warmth of the Party and the government, a new carrier to lead and contact women and sisters, a new window to show the image of women and children and foreign exchanges, and a new platform to gather care and support for women and children's family work.

After the opening of the center on the "June 1st", the first batch of the center will present the provincial 183 Tianfu Women's Urban Rural Integration Service Center, the provincial family education guidance center, the provincial women's and children's mental health service center, the five station sharing studio, the parent-child swimming pool, the parent-child reading promotion center, the women's library, the Sichuan Women's Good Product Center (parent-child life center), the parent-child labor practice base Children's scientific innovation training space and other main projects serving women, children and families.

It is reported that the center will carry out public welfare services and hold various activities in accordance with the requirements of "theme every month, activity every week and service every day". At present, the activities planned to be carried out in the year include: "Children's Innocence Building a Dream of Tianfu to the Party" - Sichuan Children's Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of New China, Sichuan "Care 39 · Act Together" Children's Summer Camp, "The Most Beautiful Women's Story" Publicity Contest, 2024 Tianfu Parent Child Research Tour Carnival and the First Western China (Chengdu) Research Expo, "Happy Love Festival · Family Happiness" A series of activities.

"After the opening of the Provincial Women's and Children's Center on June 1, the second batch of projects will be launched quickly. The Sichuan Women's Sports History Museum, Children's Science and Technology Experience Museum, Sichuan Women's and Children's Development Association, Public Welfare College and other projects will be launched and presented in succession, providing more colorful services for women, children and families in the province," said Li Min.

At the press briefing, the provincial women and children center also released the center's logo, IP image, mascot, and the center's all media platform and other related information.
