Recently, Putian First Hospital held the award ceremony of the fifth resident standardization training student/postgraduate clinical skills competition.

According to the introduction, 109 students and postgraduates participated in the contest. The contest questions combined with clinical cases, created case scenarios using standardized patients, medical devices, and experimental molds, covering common clinical skills in many disciplines such as internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, and anesthesiology, including physical examination, case analysis, and preoperative interviews. Before the competition, the hospital provided detailed training to the trainees. After fierce competition in individual preliminary, semi-final and team competitions, one individual first prize, two second prizes, three third prizes and five excellent prizes were awarded; One team first prize, two second prizes and three third prizes.

Wu Zongquan, secretary of the Party Committee of Putian First Hospital, said that the skill contest tested the clinical thinking, practical skill level and team spirit of the doctors trained in the hospital, and demonstrated the training effectiveness of the base. He encouraged regular doctors to inherit the spirit of the May 4th Movement, give play to the hale and hearty spirit of young people in the new era, practice basic skills and learn basic knowledge diligently, work hard, inherit and innovate, and strive to become an excellent doctor.
