"Don't be greedy for treasure" comes from a story in Zuo Zhuan, Fifteen Years of Xianggong: During the Spring and Autumn Period, a man in the State of Song picked a precious jade when he was quarrying stones in the mountains. He was afraid that others would rob him, wanted to sell it, and was afraid of being taken advantage of by businessmen. After thinking it over, he decided to give this precious jade to Zihan, a senior official in the capital, and told his troubles. Zihan asked the jade craftsman to carve and process the precious jade, then helped him sell the jade, gave all the money to the man, and sent someone to send him home. Therefore, later generations regard non greed as valuable and noble, which also means being honest and performing official duties.

Honesty is an essential character for officials and politics, and it is also a distinctive background for Communists to govern for the people. Fang Zhimin wrote in Poverty: "Poverty, pure and simple life, is where we revolutionaries can overcome many difficulties!" The lines between the words show the simple integrity and awe inspiring righteousness of revolutionaries. The revolutionary martyrs who sacrificed in Chongqing Baigongguan and Zhazidong, despite being trapped in a desperate situation, still attached themselves to the organization. Adhering to the principle of integrity, they proposed to the party organization what is known as the "Eight Rules in Prison", in which "preventing the corruption of leading members" and "paying attention to the economic, love and lifestyle problems of party members, especially leading cadres" are still alarming.

The political nature of being honest and upright all the time is the magic weapon of our party's invincibility and invincibility. Jiao Yulu, a two sleeved man, Yang Yegong, who never coveted the public for a penny, and Gu Wenchang, a man dedicated to the people... generations of outstanding Communist Party members have been strict with themselves, honest and clean, won the people's heartfelt support and love, overcome all kinds of difficulties and obstacles, and constantly moved from victory to new victory.

Party members and cadres are the public servants of the people. Honesty and integrity is the minimum requirement for officials to work in politics. However, in real life, there are still some leading cadres of Party members who are obsessed with selfish desires and profits, forget their original mission, lose their minds and feet in the face of various temptations, and lose in the face of sugar coated bullets.

On the new journey, we will face all kinds of risks and challenges. We must firm our political direction, stand firm in the people's position, keep the "master switch" of our thinking, constantly supplement the "spiritual calcium", often think about "greed harm", often tighten the "law and discipline strings", and constantly enhance our insight into right and wrong, self-control to resist temptation, and awareness of mistakes, Always maintain the integrity and noble character of Communists, be the leader, builder and defender of a good political ecology and social ethos, and deliver a qualified answer to the Party and the people with honest and promising practical actions.
