The Summer Universiade is the world's highest standard and largest sports event for college students. The Universiade has always been known as the "Little Olympics". 6500 athletes from 113 countries and regions entered for the 31st Summer Universiade. There are 35 countries (regions) in Asia, 36 countries (regions) in Europe, 15 countries (regions) in the Americas, 24 countries (regions) in Africa and 3 countries (regions) in Oceania.

The Chengdu Universiade is a sports event for the world's young college students, no matter from the point of view of the event setting, the schedule design or the composition of the athletes. Young people from different countries and regions, with different skin colors, come together for the common dream, compete and display their talents on the platform of the Universiade. There is no doubt that the Universiade is a valuable opportunity for the world's youth to aim at their goals, compete and move towards a higher competitive stage.

Sports competition is never just competition, but also friendship and cultural exchange. The Universiade is not only a great stage for young people from all countries to compete in martial arts, but also a great platform for dialogue, exchange and equal cooperation. For more than 60 years, young college students around the world have strengthened interaction and enhanced understanding on the Universiade, a diverse and equal platform for dialogue. Each athlete from different countries, different colors, different costumes, and different languages represents different cultural and social backgrounds. When these cultures converge on the stage of the Chengdu Universiade, they provide an opportunity for youth from all over the world to have dialogue and communication, and provide a stage for contemporary youth to enhance understanding and harvest friendship. Before the game, encourage each other, greet each other after the game, smile and cheer inside and outside the game...... Every segment or scene has written the picture of youth from all countries to improve understanding and communication.

The young people get to know each other through exchanges and develop hand in hand through friendship. The Universiade is a grand event for the world's youth to show their sports talents and cultural exchanges. In just ten days or so, the Chengdu Universiade will continuously activate and condense the humanistic spirit of peace, equality, friendship and cooperation, so that young people from all over the world can work together to develop and create the future. Because of this, the torch, medals, music and the mascot "Rongbao" of the Chengdu Universiade are all integrated with a large number of traditional Chinese historical elements and Tianfu cultural elements. During the Chengdu Universiade, there are also a series of rich cultural activities for the world's youth to feel and share. For example, the Chengdu Universiade Village will launch cultural activities every day, including the theme art exhibition of the park city, intangible cultural heritage experience and other cultural activities; Another example is the Chengdu Universiade Museum, which has nearly 900 collections and 50000 video materials to share the history of the Universiade and sports exchange stories with global youth.

To pass on friendship through sports and build peace through exchanges. The Universiade is the most grand, extensive, diverse and influential youth exchange event in the world. It is expected that the Chengdu Universiade will build the best international exchange stage for young people from all over the world. The rich and wonderful on and off the field, local culture and cuisine culture will certainly inject new impetus into the dialogue, spiritual exchanges and emotional integration of young people from all over the world.
