Recently, the Diagnosis and Treatment Plan for New Coronavirus Infection (Tenth Edition for Trial Implementation) and the Prevention and Control Plan for New Coronavirus Infection (Tenth Edition) were released. In response to the epidemic in the 21st century, China has taken precise measures according to the actual situation to make the prevention and control work more scientific, accurate, warm and effective.

At present, China's epidemic prevention and control has entered a new stage, facing new situations and new tasks. Many measures in the ninth edition of the diagnosis and treatment plan and the prevention and control plan are no longer suitable for the current reality, nor are they in line with the "Class B and Class B management". This is the right time to introduce a new diagnosis and treatment plan and prevention and control plan.

With the constant variation of COVID-19, the virulence of the virus weakened after the Omicron virus strain became the main epidemic strain. Therefore, the tenth edition of the diagnosis and treatment plan changed the name of "new coronavirus pneumonia" to "new coronavirus infection". With the increasing abundance of diagnostic means and the continuous improvement of diagnostic efficiency, at present, NCV infection can be diagnosed timely, quickly and accurately through nucleic acid and antigen detection. In order to further improve the clinical diagnosis and treatment efficiency and better realize rapid admission, the tenth edition of the diagnosis and treatment plan proposed that "suspected cases" should not be judged. In addition, in order to better reflect the characteristics of the disease, the tenth edition of the diagnosis and treatment plan has adjusted the clinical classification, which is mainly divided into "light, medium, heavy and critical" according to the severity of the infected person's condition, which is more in line with the clinical reality. Every optimization and adjustment of the prevention and control plan and diagnosis and treatment plan in China has been repeatedly studied, judged and scientifically demonstrated, which has protected people's life safety and health to the greatest extent.

In the past three years, China has optimized and adjusted the prevention and control policies for the COVID-19 epidemic according to the time and situation, formulated the ten version prevention and control plan and diagnosis and treatment plan, and issued twenty optimization measures and ten new optimization measures in a timely manner, ensuring the scientific path and correct direction of epidemic prevention and control. Every optimization and adjustment of China's epidemic prevention measures has also won a valuable time window for drug research and development, medical treatment capacity enhancement, and universal vaccination. This is a respect for science and law, and it is also an effective response to the uncertainty of the epidemic situation with the stability of prevention and control strategies and the flexibility of prevention and control measures.

From the Wuhan defense war to the normalized epidemic prevention and control, and then to the fight against Omikjon, it is our unswerving anti epidemic strategy and effective anti epidemic practice to prevent and control, study, summarize, and adjust at the same time. The tenth edition of the diagnosis and treatment plan and prevention and control plan is not completed, but is still in progress.
